Refund Policy

1. Overview & Applicability

This Refund Policy governs all subscriptions, licenses, and services offered by Pennyzo (“we”, “us”, “our”). Pennyzo primarily provides digital, SaaS-based, and AI-enabled services that are made available immediately upon purchase. As a result, refunds are limited and carefully controlled to ensure fairness while protecting service integrity and operational commitments.

Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot be waived under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

2. General Refund Position

Except where expressly stated in this policy or required by applicable law, all fees paid to Pennyzo are non-refundable and non-cancellable. This includes, without limitation, subscription fees, license fees, onboarding charges, and usage-based charges.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that service access, system resources, and infrastructure allocation begin immediately upon activation.

3. Limited Refund Exceptions

Pennyzo may, at its discretion and in good faith, consider refunds only in the following limited scenarios:

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges caused by a verified billing error
  • Refunds explicitly required under applicable consumer protection laws
  • Service non-activation due solely to a confirmed Pennyzo-side failure

Any such refund, if approved, shall be limited to the affected billing period only. Also approved refunds will be credited to original mode of payment in 7 business days.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Custom development, integrations, consulting, or training services
  • Fees for partially used or unused subscription periods
  • Charges incurred due to customer configuration, usage, or data inputs
  • Accounts suspended or terminated for policy or contractual violations
  • Failure to cancel a subscription before the renewal date

5. No Partial or Pro-Rated Refunds

Pennyzo does not provide partial, pro-rated, or usage-based refunds for subscription periods that have already commenced, except where required by law or explicitly agreed in writing.

6. Cancellation vs. Refund

You may cancel future renewals at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for amounts already paid.

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We encourage customers to contact Pennyzo support before initiating any chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension, service termination, and restriction of future access, subject to good-faith dispute review.

8. Data Protection & DPDP Act Compliance

Any personal data processed in connection with billing, refunds, or dispute resolution is handled in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and Pennyzo’s Privacy Policy. Data is used solely for lawful purposes such as identity verification, accounting, compliance, and fraud prevention.
